Alan has worked as an independent Consultant since 1997. During this period he has worked with a range of Government agencies and private clients both nationally and internationally. Prior to this, he worked for Fáilte Ireland as a Manager of the Product Development Department, where he was responsible for the implementation of many tourism investment and promotion strategies and policies. Over €1.5 billion of tourism investments were directly levered with Failte Ireland grant aid during this period. Alan is a qualified accountant, and has key expertise in areas such as project management, international planning and funding, financial and marketing analysis, research, project development, business planning, feasibility analysis.
